This house is fantastic. It is both a luxury home for adults and a playland for kids. The basement includes basketball, foosball and ping pong, and the kids room has three bunk beds and kids bean bag chairs. New furnishings and giant TVs are in every room. The elevator is a plus and something different. The home is on the golf course and not the beach, but the beach is a 5 minute golf cart ride away.

We had a great time on Fripp Island. The house was comfortable and had great brows of Blue Heron Lake. The beach access was a short golf cart ride!! We enjoyed the home and everything was as noted!! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beach home!

Check in was a breeze and Sam was such a great help. Only problem was the gold cart was a Tennessee VOLS golf cart. ??. Go DAWGS!!!!

the house was lovely, well furnished and all the needed amenities. Unfortunately, the HVAC unit dies on the day of our arrival. The indoor temperature was in the 50’s in December.

The owner was quick to respond, and sent a repairman. Unfortunately, the needed part through Carolina Air was not going to be available until our check out day. The owner had a space heater brought in, and that helped. It had to be moved from room to room to help with warmth. Otherwise, we had a good experience.

Everything was excellent, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and has all the amenities anyone would need. The golf cart is awesome and very fun to drive too.

The house was a great place for my family to get in a last of the summer getaway! We enjoyed the home and found it to be very comfortable for us to relax in. The use of the golf cart for beach/ pool trips and nightly wildlife viewing was terrific. All in all we had fun staying at this property!

We were very pleased with our stay, we will stay at this rental again. The house was very clean on the inside. Everyone enjoyed the golf cart which was a great help going to the beach and for the couples to go out and explore. We also enjoyed the bikes, we could not find a tool to lower the seat on the girl bike, the seat is very high. We did do a few minor repairs; fixed the handrail going upstairs, replaced a few lightbulbs, and cleaned the garage area. Just a couple of suggesions. First, in the twin bedroom the bed on the right side of the room needs a new boxspring, the bed lays at an angle. We put books under the legs at the bottom of bed to get it level, this helped the problem but something needs to be done. Second, the outside area around the front door needs to be cleaned, not very welcoming at first sight.

We had a wonderful few days at fripp island. There were a few things at the house but the manger told me they were being fixed. Great location. Right on one of the main roads.

Maintenance issues were addressed promptly, but hindered our ability to enjoy the property. AC repairman showed up early morning, 3 days in a row.

This was our first time to Fripp, and it did not disappoint! This house is well appointed, and had everything we needed and more. It was in a great location that was convenient to the beach, pier and marina. We will definitely stay here again!!

The property was really nice. The new updates and amenities were awesome. There were nice new beach chairs available along with beach toys for kids. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, etc. Only issue was second ice-maker didn’t work.

Beautiful Island with lots to see and do! We had a lovely time. Although the house we rented was pretty and spacious, it could benefit from a nice paint job, the curtains could look better, since the ones in my bedroom had some disturbing stains. New linens, would be wonderful! I purchased pots, pans and utensils, better suited for our needs. I left them in the house for other renters to used as well! Thank you, for the lovely time! MM

The place was very spacious and neat. The views were wonderful. Woke up the 2nd day to deer out the back porch. Very convenient to have access to the bikes and golf cart as the beach was only a few blocks away. We very much enjoyed our vacation!

This was our 2nd time staying at this location on Fripp. We are a family of 5 & there is more than enough room for all of us. Great location on Bonito b/n the Marina & Beach Access. Short golf cart ride to the pool(s). Fripp Island is a great family getaway, and 708 Bonito is a great spot to stay during your visit.

We had a wonderful time staying here! Perfect size for our family of 5 plus my mother. We will be renting again for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay on Fripp Island. This was our first experience with this house on Bonita. It was very clean, extremely comfortable, and well-appointed throughout. We loved the high ceilings and large, open rooms. It was also great having the four separate balconies and a golf cart to use on the island. The owner was also very easy to work with. Overall, a very enjoyable experience on Bonita.

Golf cart was inoperative. No replacement or discount on rental offered by owner when suggested. The interior was in excellent taste and condition. There were a few small roaches when we first arrived. I would stay there again as long as a working golf cart was available.

*This was our 4th vacation to Fripp Island- we have stayed in different vacation rentals on various parts of the island for each visit*

Overall we had a great vacation- Fripp Island is the perfect family vacation spot with a variety of activities for everyone. This home is conveniently located within a few minute walk to the beach, pool (one of many), marina and the Bonito Boathouse restaurant. Purchasing amenity cards is a must as none are included with this rental. This was the first home we stayed in on the island that did not have a screened in porch, which we definitely missed – There are far too many mosquitos during the summer to not have either a screen or some form of repellent. There were 2 bicycles in the garage (which we did not use but noted other reviews stating they were in poor condition for riding) along with various other beach gear all of which was in poor working order (rusty beach chairs, beach umbrella without a pole that fit, unuseable skim board). We ended up making a trip to Walmart which is only a 15-20 min. drive to purchase beach/pool gear that we could use. This was also the first home we have stayed in that had cockroaches inside the home. There were 2 Spray bottles of bug killer under the kitchen sink when we arrived so this may have been a problem for other renters as well.We had alerted the owner upon arrival and we were told they would look into it but we did not receive further communication so hopefully the situation was rectified for the next renters. There is a 4 person golf cart included with the rental which came in very handy for getting around the island. Overall the home was clean but it could really use a deep clean as we noticed carpet stains on the upper level & mildew (or mold- not too sure)in the upstairs bathrooms. The items I mentioned above did not prevent us from having a wonderful vacation – We will definitely return to the island in the future.

Beautiful home, great location

We rented this house for a long weekend and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The house was very open and spacious. Everything was updated and felt new and clean, unlike some of the other houses we have previously stayed in. We really enjoyed the back porch. Having the golf cart included in the rental was great and convenient. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this house to others.

Being able to stay off of Bonito was exactly what we were looking for…conveniently located between the Marina & Beach access. We were also within a quick golf cart ride to several of the pools.

Having the Golf Cart is a must for staying on Fripp.

First time to The Island. Wonderful family vacation spot. Home is beautiful. Location is great Golf cart a great plus. Need directions on what to do at check out with keys linens trash etc. no instructions were available. Fishing trip with Capt George was the highlight of the trip. Fripp has become our preferred vacation spot and VRBO is how we always set up our rental. 708 Bonita was as pictured on the site. More than enough room for 3 couples and the master suite is awesome.

During the course of our stay, we noticed a few things that we brought up to the owner prior to writing this review and we got a prompt response. Mainly dealing with the cleaning crew not doing a top notch job. There were flies under some windows, outside stairs covered in sand, and splatter marks on the floors around the sinks. After the response from the owner, I’m quite sure this will be corrected for future guests. I made a suggestion for non-stick skillets and for there to be notes on the fridge for info on handling trash pick up and what to do with dirty laundry. The provided golf cart was well used, even when we had a flat on the side of the road. Fripp police dispatched the golf cart company and we were repaired an on our way in no time.

Ann has a beautiful house and was very easy to deal with. I feel that my concerns and suggestions were well received and will be applied to make the home even more perfect for future families. Will definitely stay here again if we only need a 3 bedroom home.

The home is comfortable and clean with and a floor plan that works well for larger families. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom also has its own porch. However, none are screened. Plan accordingly (bug spray and many citronella candles) if you’d like to sit on the porch. SC mosquitos are to be feared!

Bathrooms had a hair dryer and there’s an iron in the laundry room. The beds were comfortable. We rented a full size crib and placed in the master closet. We left the door open for ventilation but it sllowed the baby to go to bed at her normal bedroom in a mostly private area.

The location is great. The marina and the beach are very close by golf cart. Both are walking distance, depending on the amount of gear you’re hauling. The beach club is just a few minutes by golf cart. Deer trot up to the back porch throughout the day. Do not plan to use the listed bicycles. They are in poor condition. The listed “private” pool refers to use of the club pools with the amenity cards. The amenity cards are absolutely worth buying. Our children loved the pools and our teenager went to the teen activities in the evening. We ate at 2 of the island restaurants. Both required amenity cards for every guest as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed Fripp and plan to return.

As long time visitors to Fripp Island, this week was among the best! The house was perfectly located on Bonita with convenient access to almost everything. We were thrilled with the furnishings in the house and that the property was clean and very well stocked with nice linens, Apple TV, a great book selection and all the comforts of home. As a necessity on the island, the golf cart that came with this home was perfect. We were all around satisfied with our stay and will most definitely be visiting this beautiful home again in the future.

The property is well situated, nicely furnished and well kept. We plan to return next year, and I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great and relaxed vacation in a uncrowded non-commercial environment. We were five adults, and the three bedrooms were a nice fit for us. We also visited Beaufort a couple of evenings to dine and listen to music. We made our reservation on short notice, the owner was very accommodating and replied promptly. Its a lovely place.

This charming, well-appointed home in a very convenient location on Fripp Island allowed for a very relaxing family vacation. Besides the lovely accommodations and beautiful golf course view, this house went beyond the “typical” rental features with nice touches such as hair dryers, paper products, some basic toiletries, and best of all – use of the golf cart! Being halfway between the beach and the marina allowed for easy fishing or sunbathing, and Fripp’s access to other islands made for great road biking. And the free wifi kept two teenagers from feeling disconnected! A definite do-again!

WE had a great trip on Fripp! We enjoyed our stay on Bonito. I really liked the kitchen and the master bedroom was so comfortale. It was fun hitting a few on the 17th in the evening too! The house was stocked and the golf cart was great to get everywhere on the island. The house was perfect for our family of four.

Our stay in this lovely home with great views and excellent location on the Island couldn’t have been any better for our family. House was spacious and open with great amenities. The efforts to make our vacation wonderful were way above expectations and we look forward to revisiting this property again. We absolutely loved our week at the Grey Seas! It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt very much at home here. The kitchen was fantastic and well-stocked with absolutely everything we could have needed to cook our meals. There is a very large dining room table which worked great for our game nights every evening. The bedrooms in particular are gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The backyard is very private and we had several deer visiting us every morning 🙂 There is a golf cart to use which was so much fun to use for buzzing around the island. There are also bikes, beach chairs and lots of sand toys. We loved the beaches which were not crowded at all, even in July. We saw lots of deer, a sea turtle and even an alligator (not by this property!) during our week-long stay. We would definitely stay at this property again when visiting Fripp Island. Sam was great to work with and very responsive to our texts before, during and after our stay. We very highly recommend this VRBO!

We loved our week at Grey Seas! Kathy and Sam were very easy to work with. The kitchen had everything we ever needed to make meals for the week. Waking up and seeing the deer right outside our window was so sweet! The house felt more like a home than a rental. Thank you for a great week!

We recently stayed at Sam and Kathy’s home the week of July 7th through the 14th and could have not been more satisfied. The home is decorated beautifully inside and came equipped with everything you could possibly need except for what food items and toiletry items you personally would need to bring.

We loved feeding the tame deer there on a daily basis. The atmosphere was so relaxing and we cannot wait to go back. I would recommend this home to anyone and Sam could not have been any easier to work with. Any question I had for him he would respond within minutes.

Stayed at Gray Seas during the week of July 4th. Nice property that is well taken care of. The home is situated at a desirable location on the island. It is located on a quiet street with convenient access to the beach. The lot is a beautiful and has mature landscaping with a secluded, park like feel to it . The owner was extremely responsive in answering all of our questions and assisting in anyway possible. We had a total of 5 people (3 grown children) in our party and the 4 bdrm. house was a perfect size for that # of people. This owner cares about his property and we were eager to leave it as good as we found it!

We absolutely love Fripp. The house was wonderful, no issues whatsoever. It doesn’t come with amenity cards, but that was disclosed from the beginning by the owners. Would definitely stay here again.

We had plenty of room for family dinners and game night! We also slept very comfortably. We enjoyed the golf cart and bicycles while exploring the island and traveling back and forth to and from the beach. We love Fripp and this excellent beach house!

My family and I recently stayed for a weekend golf tournament. This home was perfect for us and we could not have asked for anything better. From the location to the creature comforts, there is nothing we didn’t enjoy. The owners could not have been easier to communicate with, which as someone who is new to VRBO, was very comforting. I would absolutely stay here again, and will recommend this home to anyone I know. It truly made us feel at home away from home.

I have been to Fripp Island 15 times now, and this was absolutely the best rental ever. This is not your typical vacation rental, this is a home. The owners were very easy to work with and answered all my questions immediately. The home had everything we needed. Being a seasoned VRBO renter and someone who likes to cook, we took our own measuring cups, measuring spoons, pastry cutter, potato peeler, and knife sharpener. We did not need any of it. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The home is very well decorated, there were plenty of towels, great linens, candles, plenty of lighting, ceiling fans, etc. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the back deck every morning and visiting with the deer. My other famiiy members staying in nearby rentals, loved the place also. We easily hosted 14 for dessert on Thanksgiving. Thank you Sam and Graci for sharing your lovely home.

Extremely happy with our week vacation to Fripp Island in this wonderful home. We definitely plan to come back again! It was perfect for our two family vacation. Highly recommended.
